March 2022 marks eleven years since uprisings in Syria were violently suppressed leading to a protracted conflict which has led to widespread destruction, including of healthcare infrastructure as well as massive forced displacement. The suffering of those affected continues with millions who are internally displaced or who are refugees unable to return home safely. The relentless attacks by the Syrian regime and its allies, particularly Russia, including on healthcare have forced half the pre-conflict population from their homes of whom 6.7 million are refugees; most refugees reside in countries neighbouring Syria including Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. Sadly, we see the same tactics by the Russian military which were honed in Syria enacted in Ukraine where civilian structures and health facilities have been directly targeted; this has already forced millions from their homes. مع حلول آذار ٢٠٢٢ يكون قد انقضى أحد عشر عاماً منذ بدء الثورة السورية التي قوبلت بالعنف مما أدى إلى صراع مسلّح      وتدمير واسع طال المراكز الصحية والبنى التحتية مما نتج عنه تهجير ونزوح كبير . ما تزال المعاناة مستمرة مع وجود الملايين ممن نزحوا داخل سورية أو هُجِّروا خارجها غير قادرين على العودة إلى منازلهم بسلام . الهجوم الشرس من قبل نظام الأسد وحلفاءه وتحديداً روسيا  والذي لم تسلم منه النقاط الطبية قد أجبر أكثر من نصف السوريين على ترك منازلهم و من ضمنهم ٦.٧ مليون لاجئ معظمهم يقيمون في البلدان المجاورة لسوريا ، تركيا لبنان والأردن. للأسف، لا نزال نشاهد الأفعال ذاتها التي ارتكبتها القوات الروسية تُمَارس بنفس المنهجية في أوكرانيا ،حيث تستهدف بشكل مباشر المناطق المدنية و المراكز الصحية مؤدية إلى نزوح الملايين من بيوتهم.
